Includes first editions of Sir Isaac Newton's 'Principia' and Charles Darwin's 'Origin of Species.' Areas of particular strength: 18th and 19th century natural history, the history of genetics and eugenics in America, quantum mechanics, and the development of cultural anthropology in America.
